How Ivy teaches to improve your test scores
Ivy’s SAT ACT crash course for ensuring your test score improvement
Ivy Success teaching engages through a four-step approach to build core academic skills in Math, English and other subjects. Ivy students will practice the six-step process for tackling complicated math problems.
Join Ivy’s SAT ACT test-prep cramming courses if you want to boost your Math and English skills along with acquiring problem-solving strategies to improve your SAT ACT test scores. You can join Ivy’s 1: 1 tutoring or small group classes designed for the students seeking huge score improvement.
Math:
Reviewing Algebra concepts (linear and quadratic equations) and their applications
Reviewing Geometry concepts (triangles and circles) and their applications
Thinking mathematically to solve real-world scenarios
Analyzing quantitative data and interpreting data in context.
English Reading:
Determining central ideas and themes quickly; Interpreting words and phrases in context; Citing textual evidence; Analyzing arguments, point of view, and part-whole relationships.
Writing and Language:
Improving the structure of a passage to enhance logic and cohesion;
Revising text to improve written expression to achieve syntax, rhetorical goal and precision.
Reviewing conventions of sentence structure, standard usage, and punctuation.
Science Reasoning:
Interpretation (interpolation or extrapolation) of given data
Determining how the values of variable (y) change as the value of another variable (x) changes. Understand experimental design – hypothesis
Evaluate inferences and experimental results.
